Jim Ferrell
I am a retired school administrator. I moved from New Jersey to Sarasota with my partner Ted Strenger thirteen years ago. We began attending Church of the Trinity, where it was immediately apparent that we had found a church home. We became members in October 1997.

Church of the Trinity has been for us a place of worship, a place where our spiritual beliefs have been confirmed, and a place where we have been accepted and embraced. We have developed a clearer understanding of our God and recognized God at work both in our church and our community. We have also experienced lots of good times and have developed lasting friendships.

Over the years we have participated in a myriad of activities. I have been a member of the Finance Team for many years and am currently the chair of that team. I am also liaison to the Membership Team and I am an usher.

James Horner  - Clerk of the Board
I have been a member of the Church of the Trinity since 2003. In this place, I have discovered my spiritual journey. It is here that I feel the love of a community and the spirit of God. I have been given the opportunity to learn how to worship and praise our creator and I have learned new things about myself and met others who are helping me along the way. I am so grateful for the support of those who worship at the Church of the Trinity.

You will find me at Sunday worship and of course, at the monthly board meetings. I have the honor of having been elected clerk of the board and I am the board liaison for the Administrative Team. I invite you to come visit us and allow yourself to experience the Holy Spirit and the love of our inclusive community.

Jim Lachapelle
I was born and raised in central Massachusetts. In 1997, I retired from my job as Traffic Manager of a large manufacturing company with distributors in all 50 states and 27 countries around the world. In April of that year, I moved to Florida to begin my second career managing a family owned business on Anna Maria Island.

I am the proud father of two grown children and an even prouder grandfather to three wonderful granddaughters.

I became a member of Church of the Trinity MCC in August of 2006 and have been very active in several volunteer activities at the church. I have been the 11AM Contemporary Service usher coordinator for over a year now and was elected to the Board of Directors at the annual Congregational Meeting in October of 2007.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and I was very active in it for years. When I moved to Florida, I got away from attending church on a regular basis. It was not until I first attended Church of the Trinity that I knew I had found my spiritual home. It is my goal as a member of the Board to give back to the church a passion to make this church the spiritual home for all members of the LGBT community and their friends.

Winnie Mouser
I am a retired Professor from Ithaca College. In my career as a Physical Therapist I have served in several roles: as a clinician, as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Physical Therapy, and as an educator.

My partner of 33 years, Mary Lee Seibert, and I moved from New York to Sarasota 5 years ago. We joined Church of The Trinity 5 years ago. Since then I have served as an usher and as a consultant to the Board during their reorganization and Strategic Planning process.

Currently, I serve as the Board Liaison for the Marketing and Public Relations team. I am so blessed to have found such a wonderful welcoming community at Trinity. I look forward to continuing to serve the Church as we grow and expands our out reach

Fran Solitro

I retired in1989 after 15 years in the restaurant business. I have owned property in Florida since 1986 and lived in Longboat Key 17 years. My business consisted of three corporations with over forty units, and I served as vice president with control over all financial responsibilities. Following retirement, I currently work from home as an investor in real state and stocks.

I’ve been a member of Church of the Trinity since 1988 and have served in various capacities including choir member, usher, trustees committee, and the audit team. In 2008 I was appointed to the Board and currently serve as treasure.

Hope Wulliman
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana I became a member and was baptized at Church of The Trinity approximately 7 years ago. It has been a place of much learning and spiritual growth for me, not to mention the fun and friendships that have evolved here.

I currently serve on the Pastoral Care, PR & Marketing and Prayer teams. I genuinely love Church of The Trinity and the people here. My Life Partner Pamela Sims is also an active member of Trinity serving on the Praise Team and any Special Event she can cook or bake for!

I am very excited to be a part of the board and congregation that will help take this church to the next step of becoming the spiritual, social and cultural hub of our community.
