Welcome to Church of the Trinity's website. It is truly an honor to serve in this wonderfully vibrant, active, caring, giving, welcoming community. Here, we walk life's journey together, seeking to find joy and celebrate as we deepen our spirituality and broaden our service to the world. Here, we come together to become centered and grounded so we may go out to share the radically inclusive love of God. Here, we discover and share our gifts freely with one another and the world.
If you are seeking a spiritual home, please come and join us in worship, at Wednesday night dinner, at Spirit Cafe on Fridays, at any of the varied small group experiences, or at any of the many social events. Maybe you haven't been at a church for a while, or ever, but come anyway. Maybe you've had negative experiences with religion, but come anyway. Maybe you need a place of positive spirituality, so come.
Come and be welcomed into the love of God that is for all people - no matter who you are or where you've been: gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, straight allies, old, young, Latino/Latina, African-American, Asian, white, of any ethnicity or nationality, with a disability, in recovery, in church your whole life or never in church at all. God's love is for all people and we celebrate that love and welcome in all of God's children of all stripes of the rainbow and invite all to the table of Jesus where we all can be fed.
As the Interim Pastor of this beautiful congregation, I am so pleased to have such a spiritual home here in Sarasota. I am a Florida native, and after a nearly 20 year sojourn to receive my Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta and serving God in social services and non-profit management, it is truly a delight to be here. So, come and join us as we work together with the Spirit of God to create a community where we can all know God's love and share it with one another and the world.
