and how our spiritual selves can grow during this time that seems so difficult.

In order for everyone to participate in the conversation, group size is limited to 12.

Group will meet five Tuesdays at 7pm in Pierce Hall, Feb. 23 through March 23.

Learning Through Lent

Wednesdays:  Join us for an educational and spiritual growth activity/exercise each

week after dinner, 7 pm.

March 10:  Living & Dying Faithfully

Explore Jesus’ attitudes towards death and reflect upon our own mortality.

Hear testimony from one of our members, Julia Burns,

as she faces her own health challenges.

March 17:  Labryinth-ing our Way

Learn more about this ancient prayer ritual.

Then gather at our own outdoor labyrinth to walk, pray and reflect together,

ending at sunset.

March 24:  Looking to the Cross

The tradition of ‘Stations of the Cross” focuses on Jesus’ final hours.

For Lent, the stations have been set up outside on ‘the land’

which we will walk together as sunset approaches.

Preparing for THE Miracle

Participants will be provided with a daily devotional booklet

and encouraged to read throughout the week.

We’ll explore the miracles of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Luke,

leading to the miracle of the resurrection.

Small groups will meet weekly (for four weeks) to discuss and share the readings and reflect.

Dates:  2/22 – 3/25/10.

The two evening groups will meet in members’ homes.

Sign up in advance in the narthex.
