Services
Church of the Trinity worship services feature music, prayer, scripture, sermon and communion. Attendees do not need to be members or meet any criteria to receive communion - it's God's table.
Traditional Service Sunday 9:15 am |
|
Follows traditional liturgical. The music features both traditional and contemporary choices reflecting the inclusive nature of our church. Scripture is read in contemporary language to include all the people of God and hymns and songs are chosen from various traditions. Newcomers from all backgrounds have found our service comfortable and have returned to experience more! |
Contemporary Service- Sunday, 11:00 am
Features contemporary music and themes with a great deal of praise music. It's an evolving worship format. We have a supervised Children's Program during this service. |

Taize Service
Incorporates scripture reading, silent meditation, meditative common prayer and repetitive chants. According to information on the Taizé web site “nothing is more conducive to a communion with the living God than a meditative common prayer. If people were to join, at least once a week, the prayer of the local Christian community, the worship of a parish or congregation where all the generations are present, including little children, young adults and elderly persons, then the universality of communion in Christ would find a clear expression.” |

What We Believe
Church of the Trinity is a church that is Ecumenical, Evangelical, and Eucharistic.
Ecumenical
We are part of the Body of Christ, the church universal and apostolic. We reflect the diversity within Christianity, including elements from every Christian tradition, blending them to create a mosaic of new worship experiences.
We uphold and believe in the historic creeds of the church while using inclusive language so that all may know they are welcome in the Dominion of God.
We are official observers at the Word Council of Churches and are members and participants in may local, regional, and national interfaith and ecumenical organizations.
Evangelical
We believe in the Good News! Jesus Christ lived that we might know how to live, died to conquer death for us, and rose again that we might have life abundant and eternal.
We believe that God is active in our lives today through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This enables us to strengthen, help and heal one another as we change the world.
Eucharistic
The early church included the celebration of the Lord's Supper (Communion or Eucharistic) as the central part of their church gathering. We continue in that tradition, offering Communion at almost every service.
All UFMCC churches celebrate an "Open Communion." You need not be a member to participate, but only to desire a renewed life in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Host; we are all invited to share, not just as his guest, but also as his friends.
